Understanding patient experiences and perspectives can help to establish healthy therapeutic relationships. On this call, we’ll learn from people managing chronic pain in rural areas. Whether you are working in a rural area, seeing rural patients in an urban setting, or just interested in rural perspectives, please join us to hear from others and share your ideas, successes, and lessons learned.
After attending this event, participants will be able to:
- Identify at least on process improvement they can make to manage patients’ pain in a way that is even safer, more effective, and patient-centered.
- Describe at least one example of how communities have helped individuals to safely manage pain
- Explain how community health workers can support safe and patient-centered pain management
